not 15% gain, that was my example the stock throttle body is 52, I went over my numbers and it is a 11.8% increase in volume size, that is what I meant, of course you are not going to see 12% gain, but with the engine being able to utilize 12% volume size, throttle response should be less resistant anyway when you send it to howell or by the afx one for 250$ or something like that, they bore it to 55mm, I would think there was a reason for not going more than that, the bigger you bore out the inlet, you are going to have to get a larger butterfly whatchamacalit so you don't idle at like 3000rpms
