Yup. There was no wire ground at ALL on my stock radio, period. Nothing to the brackets, nothing coming out of the harness, nothing body grounded...period. Yet it worked.....so explain that one Now the Alpine wouldn't function that way but the stocker did just fine.
Because the radio is still touching the brackets. That contact is all thats needed for a ground.
