Damn I am late to the party. Well even though its to late, and doesn't matter much because you had the car chosen for you, but for future references different brands have different mark ups. Example Subaru's aren't marked up that high, so while they are cheaper there isn't much wiggle room for negotiating, where as Mazda's generally are priced up, making them more expensive but also a hell of a lot more room to negotiate. Only know this because had a buddy debating between buying a Subaru wrx and some Mazda, I think he said after he took into account of the negotiating and everything, at the end of the day you could get the cars for the same price roughly, despite what sticker prices said.

Bottom line, just like everything else, research :p
