Sorry can't really help you on your exact question, but what my friend did was a lot easier...he just wired the switch to the fuse for the ECU. So if the switch is off, then the ecu gets no power and no matter what the car won't run. He even tested it by driving, and once you flip the switch, the engine dies immediately (probably not too good for the car to have the ecu die while its driving down the street).
