Well in different occasions I have found "excessive" wear on the dog teeth and one occasion I worked on a trans that had relitively low milage and the play was borderline spec between the blocking rings. I feel that the quality of the rings are not acceptable. I have had buddies literrally twist shafts on Ford and Chevy T-5's and have the synchs still in better condition than the ones I've seen come out of my own.
