My egt probe broke and was wondering if I saudering (sp) or welding it would work instead of buying a new one. It broke right after the part that threads into the manifole and before the bend.

I don't think it would work. I wouldn't waste the time in doing something like that. You can get a very quick and accurate TRE probe for pretty cheap. The TRE probe will work in replacement of the Autometer probe too and it's about 10X faster.
Or if you had the Autometer probe and you can't afford to buy that one (believe me know how it is, I'm a poor college student) then I will give ya my old Autometer one. Just pay the shipping.

Yeah the tre probe is the one that broke. I was just seeing if I could fix it instead of pay 45.00 but oh well.

You might be able to find one on Ebay a little cheaper.
