How loud is it on your Star turbo kit? I just ordered it and I dont want it to be so loud that cops can pool you over for having mods.

It is really loud if you are at 6+psi. It sounds like a piercing whistle. If you are at low boost though it just kinda farts.

Just route it back into the intake pipe in front of the filter if your concerned about it. I wish my BOV was louder (its already highly noticeable).

Me and Raizin (rick) had the same problem. His solution was to take off the intake pipe. It worked!.. a little, but I still had the gobble gobble thing. I don't boost alot even with an I/C and I wanted to hear my BOV alot. So I took apart my BOV and took out a spring..pput it back together and adjusted it. NOw the piercing whistle only heard at 6lbs is heard at..uh...0lbs!!..It goes off like crazy especially on cold nights. If i adjusted the spring real loose I leak boost and you can hear it leak also. Also the whistle comes much quicker when your BOV is leaking. But that's my fix

I like the gobble gobble sound.... but now that i upped the boost I don't hear it at all...plus my exhaust has gotten louder and my BOV is sweet sounding....and yes the BOV is quite loud...just hose it back to the intake if you don't want it that loud....

Speaking of this damn greddy type s bov...the screw in the top for adjustments poped out...literally..It is brand new (2 months) and the threads on the bov are stripped as are the threads on the adjustment screw..and I never even set it..because it came tightened down far enough...this sucks does greddy have warranty?
