#9055, "tial bov/wastegate or deltagate/greddy typeS"
for a little more i can get a tial bov and tial wastegate w/ my kit instead of the deltagate wastegate and greddy S bov. i was told they function the same way and either way i go would be fine performance wise, just the tial's look a hell of a lot better. are they made better or perform better or is it just looks and would it be worth it (about 300 ducks more than if i go w/ the deltagate/greddy)

First off the Tial 35mm wastegate is about $25 more than the deltagate and is a direct fit (read no additional labor for them). The Tial BOV is about $80 more than the Greddy type S so you should ask them why they are trying to charge you $300 more.
Second the Tial BOV is too damn big for this application. The valve is 50.3mm (nearly 2"). Thats bigger than the Greddy R or any other BOV I can think of.
IMO Tial has a very good reputation but they are just trying to sell you more sh*t one of which is a bad choice for your application. Either way you wont be able to tell a difference except the Tial BOV might not go off under low boost.
Tial wastegates are said to be made of more heat resistant materials than most others. For $25 I'd try it. For $220 I'd tell em to kiss my ass.
Also IMO neither tial product looks better. The Deltagate is a high luster polished metal and the greddy anodized purple. Both Tial products look like anodized bomb shelters.

>is a direct fit (read no additional labor for them). what do you mean a direct fit? they're custom making the exhaust manifold.
>The Tial BOV is about $80 more than the Greddy type S so you >should ask them why they are trying to charge you $300 more. i'll ask. i don't think he knew the prices off the top of his head, but i'll see. i'm talking to them on monday.

I should have said direct replacement. Bolt patterns, flanges and valve size all identicle. If I wanted to change my deltagate to the 35mm Tial it would bolt right up to my manifold and discharge tube without modification.

u're rite, i found them online and compaired, if i were to get the tial's it would be only 100$ more than the other 2...i'm going to ask tomorrow...i'm not sure if the price i was given was correct, if it was i'm going to be pissed.
