#87605, "CEL turned off but still have an error code?"
I've had a check engine light for a "System too rich" code (I have 450's, and don't want to drive around w/ lower than 16 psi of idle/static fuel pressure). My ltft is maxed out (-25), but my stft is in check (around -10). My check engine light stopped lighting up for this error code, but it still pulls up if I check my errors. It's not burnt out either because it lights up for the ignition start up check. Is it normal for it to stop lighting the CEL after a while?

If the problem isn't detected for two key-on trips that meet certain criteria, the CEL turns off but the code remains stored for another X amount of key-on trip sequences. Eventually it'll go away.
