Looks like you need one eh?
I've never had this issue so I don't know the details but you can find out how to install the check valve by searchin. I've read the post, just dont know the details.

yeah some have it in the line from the intake manifold to the booster. it should be a two section hose.

i'm not sure about earlier year models, but the 98-99 have the check valve press fitted inside the hose. you can't see it but if the squeeze the line you can feel it. i think mitsu. sells the hose/valve as one part.

Why are you hitting the brakes while in boost anyway? let off the throttle, brake.

Left foot braking? "Launching" from a roll? Building boost pressure while braking in a turn to get ready for accelerating after the apex?

Pressure from the turbo even after decel keeps the booster from working for a few seconds. I get it every time I make a pass. Tim, I wish I had the part number, but Nissan makes a fucking awsome check valve that works for this, I used it on my 350z. Try a dealer and tell them to look up a check valve, if your lucky the parts guy will find it.

I fixed it emoji I used a 800psi industrial check valve. Works great. It has a all brass body.
