Thanks to xtremeRS. haha same here, mine took about 2 months to build everything... but ya i wouldnt count on it being only another hour. that part is a bitch you have to drain the oil, take off the front cross member, take the tranny shield off, take the oil pan off, weld it, test it for leaks, put it back on, fill it with oil, connect the line... it will most likely take you more then an hour... by the way, you may want to put some JB weld around the bung on the oil pan just to be safe and prevent any leaks... mine leaked, and putting JB weld on it while its leaking is hard. but good luck, my weld sucked tho.
You got to know that I have a fully loaded shop With 5 lifts and plenty of air tools and have been mig and tig welding for 15 years so I'd say 25 mins to get oil pan off, 20 min to weld and clean & paint.Wait 20 min for paint to dry and 25 mins reinstall and 10 min to install drain line and fill with oil. OK,OK maybe a little over an hour to finish, I can dream can't I?
