wet kit has a fuel jet that adds fuel that way.
dry kit relys on the ecu to add the extra the nitrous needs.
some cars can add fuel on there own, others can't. the reason there are both.

example 96 rs w/dry kit, odds are very high it will lean out and go kaboom. example 96 rs w/wet kit, odds are much less it will lean out and go kaboom when set up properly
Only the 95 can run a dry kit stock from the factory 96+ needs the wet kit.

d'oh! i wrongfully assumed that mopar switched SBECs throughout the entire assembly line at once, and saw some 95 mopars w/ SBEC IIs and assumed they all had them

Nah. There's speculation the 96+ ecu's isn't even an SBEC3.
Technically all the 2GNT ecu's would be an "FCC" ECU, though i've never found anything to verify that. it stands for "Four Cylinder Controller" as i got ahold of some documentation somewhere that stated it was used in all Chrysler's 4cyl apps.
As far as the secondary air stuff.. the latest 95 ECU code doesn't contain any provisions for it and won't cause a CEL. thedawg actually took a 95 ecu in and had it updated just for this issue IIRC.

no no dude, it doesnt just let the ecu take care of the fuel. it uses vaccume lines to raise the fuel pressure to add more fuel. dry kits are just old technology. take your nitrous kit like your women, make sure its wet
