I went and got the TurboXS Type H34 Bypass valve. It's basically a RFL, but without the "horn" on the output. It has just a round port, so you can connect a hose to it, pretty much what a lot of the 4g63 guys use because of the MAS sensor. So I just routed the output of the BOV to the air intake pipe before the turbo inlet. For me, I found at least 2 good things becasue of this: --it's not so damn loud. I know lots of people like annoying loud BOV's, but it gets "annoying" driving all the time, so routing it to the intake pipe quiets it down a bit. It's actually still very, very audible, sounds really nice, and a clean, sharp bov sound. --second, I can set the spring tension on the piston a bit softer, so that it "leaks" a little at idle, which completely rids the gobble effect of the BOV when set too tight, at lower boost levels. I can be even just under 0 psi, and it will still have a clean BOV sound.
Rerouting it also, from what I can tell, helps keep the turbo spooled up a bit between shifts. Not real important for the S16G since it stays spooled pretty well already, but it did help nonetheless..  13.5 @108 MPH-2.2 60ft(stupid FWD!)
