I bought a turbo from them before I read all of their bad reviews on here. Here is the e-mail I sent them. You can gather what happened from there. Anybody have any luck with their customer service before?
Hello,
I purchased a turbo from you in auction #2480348748 on Ebay. I finally installed the turbo this past weekend. I am extremely disappointed and need to talk to someone asap about this product. I now have 98 miles on the turbo and it is completely blown. The bearings are so shot I can move the shaft about a 1/4 of an inch in any direction.
I know for a fact this turbo was installed correctly and was started up by holding the fins for 1 minute and there was oil present in the supply line, which was checked.
I was driving and when the turbo started to spool I heard this sound like a siren. I pulled over and popped the hood. I pulled the air filter off and looked inside. There is an area around the housing where I can see that the compressor wheel was rubbing the housing. So I grabbed the shaft and much to my surprise I could wiggle it with no force whatsoever.
I believe it is ridiculous for this to happen to a turbo with only 98 miles on it. I have never seen anything like this. This problem needs to be resolved as soon as possible before I am forced to take further action. I would prefer my money back, but if we could work something out, I am open to suggestions. I ask that you please contact me at #-###-###-#### upon receiving this e-mail so this can be taken care of. I appreciate your time and am looking forward to hearing from you.
