#70335, "Sensor ?"
May-04-04 07:40 AM by Pyscodragon

Ok Ive come to the conclusion it is a sensor that is read off of during closed loop only. What sensors are not used while the car is in open loop? but are read off of when the car goes into closed loop.
I know the O2 sensor is one of them. Are their any others? (maybe one of the crank/cam sensors)
Thanks

Absolutely not. They are used to determine ignition and injector timing, respectfully. Open or closed loop, you must have those inputs.

What should happen if you were to unplug your O2 sensor and run the car?

If it's cutting at 4K, its a MAP sensor problem.
