70335, Sensor ? Posted by Pyscodragon, May-04-04 07:36 AM
Ok Ive come to the conclusion it is a sensor that is read off of during closed loop only. What sensors are not used while the car is in open loop? but are read off of when the car goes into closed loop. I know the O2 sensor is one of them. Are their any others? (maybe one of the crank/cam sensors) Thanks

The front O2 is the only thing i can think of.

Absolutely not. They are used to determine ignition and injector timing, respectfully. Open or closed loop, you must have those inputs.

What should happen if you were to unplug your O2 sensor and run the car?

Run like shit, barely idle, ass rich.

I unpluged it to see if it would run and it did go figure and it also cut off at 4k like its been doing under boost.

If it's cutting at 4K, its a MAP sensor problem.

How? If the map is clamped(with the adj voltage clamp from radio shack) and missing link. And it throws no codes and the map stops where ever I set it at ???
