i started my turbo installed, basically i thought since i was waitin for shocks and the cars up in the air i should do it now while i'm waiting to get everything back together. i broke my craftsman 10 mm socket on the heat sheild on the mani tonight which put a huge damper on my progress. i wanted to have my stock mani and dp pulled off so i could install my tapped oil pan/crankscraper and let everything seal up for the 24 hrs but that wasn't the case tonight. (sucks) does any one have any advice or insight to help me out... i guess once i get that pulled it should be smooth sailing i'm just frustarted right now but i have to finish it at this point i'm not turning back.

smooth sailing isn't gonna happen, you'll have problems..just gotta have patience and 3 or 4 10mm sockets good luck with it

Yeah, get more 10mm sockets, get some deep mm sockets ranging 12-19 mm (but from harbor freights, and some long reaching, greatneck breaker bar to get to the bolts underneath the exhaust manifold. After that, the install was smooth sailing.

I am presently doing an install myself, and I found that PB Blaster works wonders. Go buy a can or two and spray up every bolt that is gonna eventually have to be removed. It helped me a lot.

1997 Eagle Talon ESi

GO to sears and get a craftman bolt remover. It looks like a socket with a sprial pattern inside. It makes those bolts a joke to remove. I believe it was a number 4 you need.

i've pb blasted everything a day or 2 before i started in on the install and its helped for some but i think i'll head up sears and pick up that bolt remover(sounds like fun). today its raining so i picked my fuel return lines and fittings. now i wait for the weather once again. thanks for the info so far guys. my to list seems soo big right now i just want to put a dent in part of it.
