The price for Alain's manifold vs the price of that equal length manifold isn't even comparable. With the only added benefit being equal length, and no long-term results, there is no way I would pay 3 times the amount Alain wants. I'm sure it's a nice piece, but it is WAY overpriced. Sure it comes with the Deltagate, but I already have a Tial 38mm anyways. The most I'd be willing to pay for that manifold would be about $400-450. Your friend might want to rethink his prices. I'm sure if he lowered the price he would sell a lot more, and probably end up making more money. People who are doing custom turbo kits are generally doing it to save money. A car can be turbo'd for around $1500-2000 if you shop around. I know because when I'm done I will have spent about $2000 including all gauges, manifold, new Evo3 16g, lines, hoses, couplers, sidemount, bov, wastegate, fuel system, and parts to make a downpipe and IC piping. It just isn't realistically or competetively priced.
Lets just say this... I'm over 100whp and soon to cross 200whp. Thanx 2GNT! Now if I could only learn to prove it.

While the manifold does look nice... you cannot claim to be outperforming everyone elses manifold without numbers to back it up!
Any log type manifold will surfice... as long as it flows enough to not be restrictive.
I made my own manifold, but I would recommend you go with Alain's... they have proven themselves... and for the money you cannot argue!
