This might be a stupid question, but I dont know it.

(Just using #'s as a example) Is there a difference between 1400* with no boost vs. 1400* with boost?

I don't see why there would be a difference. Being that it is a temperature, 1400 degrees is 1400 degrees. The thing to look out for is that on a turbo, being that you are compressing air, things get alot warmer much faster. EGT's on bolt on NA's is a waist of time and money if you ask me. nah....no difference your engine is in just as much danger above 1600* NA as it would be boosting. But if you getting there NA you have some serious problems emoji
