That's right, I want cheap and dependable. Does such a boost controller exist?
I'm not looking for anything fancy like the electronic models. I just want a really cheap boost controller that I can manually set and leave alone. I'm upgrading from my current HRC stage 1 setup to a HRC SMIC but am keeping my current wastegate spring in and only boosting 5-6 psi. So I need something to up the boost a bit after the pressure drop through the IC.
I checked out MachV and the cheapest they had was a Hallman ES for $69.00. Anyone had any experience with this baby? Should I check out ebay?

Hallman and Joe P are both good boost controllers. Reliable and fairly inexpensive.
