so after about a month and a half of downtime, i got my car working again. stuff completed:
1mm oversized valves PT rockers Eaton lifters Crane springs/titanium retainers Ported head and other manifolds MSD DIS-2 ebay short shifter de-warped exhaust manifold re-did vacuum system EGR blockoff, removed pipe removed Neon oil dipstick from the Howell shortblock tube and put the stock one back in, i can finally get oil readings.
2.4 cam gears... cool. i put the stock ones back.
ghetto rigged DIS-2, will actually mount it someday...
my temporary studder box button
oh yeah... the new missing link works PERFECTLY. anyone who has problems with theirs should drill a very small pinhole in the side of the unit on the MAP sensor side.
the MSD ignition controller is VERY cool. the studder box thing works really well. my car idles perfectly now.
also, when i first started it up, i noticed that the new valvetrain was very quiet. almost no noise whatsoever. pretty cool.

You are not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fu**ing post count.

when i sold my turbo kit and ML...i happened to notice that it had a pinhole in it already...so i'm guess that the "new" ones have it in there and the "old" ones dont?
nothing like driving with the windows down and the music low: i love hearing the turbo spool, swwwhhhttt!!!! thanks for www.kaptainmyke.com for the sig hosting
