I met up with Randy a couple days ago to compare turbo installs. I notice his turbo looks exactly like mine. He said his is a T3/T04E, mine is suppose to be a T3/T04E Ball bearing turbo. I can't remember but the sticker that was on the plastic wrapping for the turbo said Ball Bearing somewhere on it, I lost it Just wondering.

You cant. Unless its marked or something, there wont be any visible difference. The difference is inside where you cant see it. Ceramic ball bearing cartridge versus thrust bearing. Less friction and drag = quicker spool and increased durability.

Oh well that's what I would have guessed. For paying like 600 plus more than a regular turbo it had better spool faster hehe... Randy's seems to rev faster though, I didn't exactly drive it but it has better low end, could it have something to do with his 2.5" piping? Mine's stock piping.

Exactly. I'd definitely get rid of that stock piping as soon as possible.
