if i were to buy the hrc stage 1, is it possible to use the smic from a turbo 1g or a supra? i thought i saw this somewhere before but im not sure. sorry for the noob questio

Yep, you sure can. All you have to do is get some piping made up to fit it, and you are all set. I currently run 13 psi on the 1G side mount IC..thats pushing it though

i used to run the 1G SMIC too. i discovered that it's limit with the 16G is about 15 psi on a good day. around that level and anything higher, it heat soaks FAST.

well im not plannin on running over 8 or 9 psi till i can save up the money for the fty 2.2L kit. i should hold up fine right? also, how much should i expect to pay for a 1g smic?
