if i were to buy the hrc stage 1, is it possible to use the smic from a turbo 1g or a supra? i thought i saw this somewhere before but im not sure. sorry for the noob question:shrug

Yep, you sure can. All you have to do is get some piping made up to fit it, and you are all set. I currently run 13 psi on the 1G side mount IC..thats pushing it though :)

i used to run the 1G SMIC too. i discovered that it's limit with the 16G is about 15 psi on a good day. around that level and anything higher, it heat soaks FAST.

well im not plannin on running over 8 or 9 psi till i can save up the money for the fty 2.2L kit. i should hold up fine right? also, how much should i expect to pay for a 1g smic?
