#58965, "Finally 2.5" DP"

Built my DP for my HRC kit this past weekend. I did all the cutting and fitting but, my girlfriends dad welded it for me. Came out pretty good. Here is what i paid for the materials.

3 2.5" 90* bends = $30ish
1 2.5" flex section = $35
1 o2 bung = $5
1 50' roll of exhaust wrap = $20ish

Can I get one for my HYOA Turbo Kit? I'd like it in 3.75" because I heard that it was important to have a 3.75" downpipe on a car that makes 250 horsepower.

Well, you would need to be pushing about 1000 psi through a t-25 to really need a 3.75" emoji

Oh, ouch. Hey, moderators, we're not allowed to attack other members, are we? You should repremand this person. Can't you see these vicious words have messed up my fragile mind? This is the most mean and cruel thing ever posted to 2gnt, quite possibly ever!

Oh no, the piercing pain and anguish I'm feeling right now from these words is making me faint... my eyes are blurry... the room is spinning. Mommy.

someone make a script that locks any posts that contain any white meat. seriously useless!

as far as the ACTUAL TOPIC, I think if you could make a dp as clean as run4cvr's, i think you'd do pretty well. i'll keep u in mind emoji

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

Lol, well hopefully people can trust me, and know that I put out a good product, and good service, and that I will never let this get out of hand like it was previously. I will have a special web page dedicated to all those who have orders, will update each and every ones order, so people will know exactly what is going on. I will make it perfectly clear of what you can expect of my product, and of me personally, and will have the few who have recieved this pipe to post up their thoughts and comments on it. Unfortuately, all I have to go by is my word, and the words of people who have done business with me. I've sold quite a few test pipes, and have not had one bad comment yet. I take very, very much pride in my work, and i'll let it be known exactly what you are getting, when you are getting it, and all that. I have fun doing this stuff, and at the same time, make a little bit of extra cash, and help the guys out who need the pipes. I'm not a big business, I dont have tons of capital to work with, but I am completly honest in what I do. Hopefully, that accounts for something. emoji And no, I sure dont want mototool on my ass!!

matt, i saw the downpipe you made thura and it looked awesome! i can personally vouge for matt too, first class guy, works at a first class shop. literally haha. just look at your feedback matt emoji if you think youre credibility is in question.

anyway, ill be first on your list of "eleventeen inch downpipe UltraXtremeUber2GrsNT " downpipes!

i understand about keeping everyone in the loop. as long as everyones updated as to whats goin on, a little wait for a good quality piece isnt a problem. especially if you are test fitting each pipe on your own car. if mine comes out at all as good as thuras ill be happy emoji along with an UltraXtremeUber2GrsNT solid motor mount hehe.

OooOo delicious downpipe. But makes you wish you got a star kit so you wouldn't have to fiddle with it. Then again the star pipe doesn't even fit well O_o . How come you didn't go for 3 inch?

Its already a very tight fit with 2.5". Now, if you dont have A/C, then there is much more room to play with. Oh and btw, sorry for the thread highjack! emoji

3 inch would of been tough to fit with my my newbie skills at cutting and fabbing. I think i will be building a 3 inch cat-back next.

Yeah I have a feeling most of my exhaust seeps out the flexible supermarket tailpiping that makes up 30% of my downpipe. Even better, the 02 sensor is after the flex section. So much for accurate Air/Fuel readings. Too bad I have don't have an HRC kit. Looks like I'll have to resort the the custom route. Anyone seen my downpipe on the car? Here, I'll attach a pic. emoji Also note the crush bent intake pipe right off the compressor. I heard this is excellent for flow. Yeah... one day I'll have big long pieces of powdercoated mandral bent tig welded intake pipes. Just wait emoji
