I am currently right now studying over the haltech i have sitting right next to me. I bought it about 2 months ago, and have been reading over and over shit, studying the wiring diagrams, trying to figure out how to hook it up. Man, it is a byotch to get in the car, i think tuning it will actually be easier. As to whether or not this will work in our cars, i sure as hell don't know yet, but i am going to find out one way or another i am thinking.
Price, so far is at 1336 for the setup, and that doesn't include some items i still need.
So, for a grand, a haltech ain't gonna work. I spoke with hahn a couple months ago, and they said they would sell their whole stage V fuel system, but that comes with 625 cc injectors, which you don't need, and it runs like 1500 bux for everything. At least this is what they told me a couple of months ago. It would probably be the best way for any of us to go, considering it is the only engine management system that any of us know about that is actually installed on a 2gnt. Hopefully, by the end of summer, mine will be the second type of EMS installed.
Right now though, i have to get my civic back on the road, so i can park the eclipse to get the haltech installed. But, to get my civic on the road, i gotta get a new tranny, and i am gonna drop a single cam vtec motor in it while i am at it. so, i got a summer full of work ahead of me basically. should make for a lot of fun, but hopefully in the end, i will be able to give us all one more option on running high boost levels.
