can any body please help me out with a 99 fuel system. im not to familiar with it being i had a 95. im installing a sfmu on a friends car which i sold my hrc stg 2 too. dan? kaiser? thanks guys, l8r

dude. just make sure on his fuel rail the valve is removed, the run a line from there to the 'IN' on the super -fmu and a gauge if you got that also. and on the out on the super fmu run that to the tank (return line).. and if his using stock injecs make sure within the fmu is the dark colored short spring and try the biggest disk 1st, if the rise rate is too much try the next smaller disk/ring etc. set idle fp to 47-55psi.. thats all Michael 99gs HRC Stage 2 @12psi Stage 3 process begins gathering parts for rebuild 2GNT Member #32 http://www.dreamwater.net/purplebeast

okay, for a 99 there are several differences from the 95. first the fuel filter and stock fuel pressure regulator are in the back of the car. you will have to have a special fitting for the fuel filter so it can attach to the hrc fuel pump and you will have to remove the stock fuel pressure regulator completely. then from the hrc fuel line to the stock hardline it is basically the same. you then have to connect the the test port on the fuel rail (remember to remove the valve core) to the in on the sfmu from the sfmu you have to connect the out to either an installed hardline or a long rubber hose and run that all the way back to the tank return port on the fuel pump housing. there are a few special fittings you will need for the 96-99 vehicles over the 95 fuel system. it will be difficult to install the system without these fittings.
