Got a '96 with a minor leak in the gasket. Thinking about putting on a 65-70 shot wet system soon (got CAI and 2 1/4" exhaust) but was curious if the gasket was a problem or not. Many people blow their already bad gaskets with the NOS?

I would STRONGLY advise against the use of nitrous on your car until you get the HG fixed!

If you go to I think the second page of posts in this topic, there is a post called "I hope this isn't any of our guys"... It is a video of what can happen if you have a leaking headgasket.

A minor leaky head gasket is a problem NA let alone with nitrous. I wouldn't even drive it NA, doesn't take but one drive for the minor leak to become sitting on the side of the road waiting for AAA.
