Cams are not fun to play with and I beleive the nitrous grind cams will hurt you when your not spraying. Are they hard to install? depends on you.. overall I think there a pain in the ass altogether.

I don't know whose cams you've been playing with but I am pretty happy with mine. Cams will REALLY change the power that we can make. They will have more power in the top end and you will pull pretty hard to the redline.

Actually they are a better grind than the street grind but they aren't as wild as the drag grind.

Just do them when you do your timing belt. You CAN swap cams without removing the timing belt but it was a pain to do and when I change cams again I will be removing the timing belt and doing them the right way.

How can you change the cams without taking off the timing belt? You have to take the cam gear off to pull the cams out don't you.

How long do you think it would take to change cams along with upgrading to PT parts in the process?

I won't do it this way again but you can leave the gears inplace and loosen and remove the cams without removing the gears. It was a pain in the ass but it IS possible.

Leaving the belt on and changing cams is at least a few hours. You reallly save no time. I just wasn't planning on changing the other timing belt items when I got my cams.

As far as PT rockers and lifters, I can change those in an hour with out removing the cams. It's a quick, simple process.

Yup they are under the cams, but they are still replaceable without removing the cams.
