lets say in theory that I put a 100 shot on my car what will go first piston/rings or vavles? I would do the 100 with just a better fuel pump and maybe some injectors plus a little race gas. Also those that have done a 75 or 100 will I have to worry about traction on the street in 2nd gear?

both. First I had a ring land break. Fixed that and then I had two valves melt. The stock parts just can't handle the extra heat. That was at 100 shot. I ran for two years at a 75 with no problems

HG if it's weak. At the first sigh of detonation it's bye bye ring lands. Valves it's hard to say, some last some don't. Either way, I would only run over 75 on a built engine and then you'll be able to run 100+ shots.

i ran a 125-shot on a built engine for about a year a while ago. traction in 2nd gear with street tires will be NON-existent. get a progressive controller or only race from a roll... haha.

The first thing that will happen is your passenger side floor board will fall out...j/ But seriously, thats a lot to ask of the stock internals. Might go for a HG and rings and beef up bottom end. Im with those guys ^^^
