ASOG is an acronym for Avenger / Sebring Owners Group
I just wanted to post this on behalf of my poor ASOG brethren with the V-6's. You wouldn't believe how many of them are starving for boost and they're about as modification-crazy as we are over here.
As you know, there are a couple of ASOG people who are in-fact boosted. Not close to as many as us, but I think over the next 5-6 months, there will be a surge of them entering into the boosted world. The thing is that most, if not all of them will be the 420a's.(I've only ever heard of one V-6 turbo owner) I think there's actually more of them with V-6's however. I don't know if you ever entertained the thought of providing boost for them as well. I'm sure they would be flattered to receive any input you have on their application. (I feel bad for them)
These guys are so underpowered with their V-6's, it's a tragedy. Without even a factory option 5-speed, they're slower than the manual trannied 420a's that we have in an engine with two more cylinders. Just wondering if you could give them your thoughts. They're often very helpful over there to us.
Here's their message board with a recent STAR turbo'ed customer and the ensuing V'6 usual "where's our V-6 boost?" conversation. As far as I know, the STAR avenger over there is the first I have heard of. (Shant has an HRC turbo)

I just hope your 97 ES doesn't have abs. that may cause a problem. I am almost dome building my 97 ES I4 5spd, and the abs had me scratching my head for weeks. I still have to get some stuff custom fitted because of it. Going to be good in the long run 'though

I have a full custom kit running at 5psi straight from the external wastegate... im getting the fuel system replaced, AVC-R and UDP to go up to 12psi... the rest of the engine building will be done later

Hello all,
I've been out of town for a few days, or I would have responded sooner. We were at an AMA-Prostar bike drag race in Atlanta.
The 2.5 V-6 in the Avengers is a unique design, not shared with the current Eclipse / Stratus series. We have examined one of the 2.5 Avengers in a turbosystem engineering study.
At this time, we do not plan to develop a production system for these cars. However, this does not slam the door shut, should someone wish to have us do a custom installation. Should someone be interested in such a custom installation, they should email me at eng@turbosystem.com.
Jason, thanks for the lead.

Hey Jason, some of our guys been trying hard to get HRC to do a kit for the v6 on the avenger... wouldnt that categorize it as a "custom" set up the first time around? what would be different from fabricating that very first kit and then turn it into production once standards and proper running numbers are met? ill relay this to the guy in ASOG...

I think one difference would be cost. Selling all these turbo kits/parts in bulk has to cut the cost down some. A one off custom set up usually doesn't come cheap.
