only hook up the top nipple to the intake manifold leave the bottom open.. the top is to adjust how hard or soft meaning if your getting compression surge then its to tight but if it does not blow off its way to soft etc...

For 7 psi, very minimal; maybe only about a half turn of the allen screw. The only way to really find out is to turn the allen screw at the top of the bov counterclockwise, until it stops, then give it a 1/4 clockwise. Take it for a spin, and go WOT. Listen to the sound. If it's not venting, then turn it another 1/4 turn, and go WOT again. I run 15 psi daily and mine is only set at about a full turn. You want to hear that tight pisssshhhh sound.
