I finally got my EGT probe.Cars going to the shop for EGT gauge,440's(again)and 4:1 disk.I rewired my afc and fcd accdgly(thanks Joe and Thura).Think I can go 15 PSI w/ out any retard at all?If not how high do you think?BTW,which of the 3 in the sensor check menu on the afc is the map voltage?TIA

I'd like to know too!! Is there a give rule of thumb for timming retard per lb of boost? Cause i plan on running 16psi after in a few months wheni get the engine rebuilt.

Patrick (used to post here.. haven't seen him in a long time) ran 18PSI with no timing retard for a good while on 440's, a 4:1 disk and SAFC. Ran a best of 13.8 on street tires.

what octane fuel did he use at 18psi?

what psi did he run with 93 octane pump gas?

Standard HRC internals: 8.8:1 JE's, Crower rods. 18PSi on pump gas, 93 octane. All his posts are still around. Do a search and i'll be you can find out everything he had...

Nicely put Evul, even on the Dyno I have learned you could blow a fully built motor. emoji Of course that was at 22 psi shity rebuild and no timing retard. WoW I think about it now and I am not suprized she blew up.
