The only reason i'm calm abou tit is cause it still runs good. If it was not running or running lik sh$t then i'd be upset.

Try another compression tester. They break very easily and give wrong readings all the time. It's best to use more than one tester each time you test your compression. If you have 90 compression in a cylinder, you should be having a crapload of blow-by and losing oil like crazy.

also brings up a good point not to boost more than 7psi daily on stock internals... our rods can take more den that but our rings aren't well equipped for higher boost...

dang that sux. Well I've always had LOW compression. Hehe I always figured hmm I got a special 420A from the factory with lowered compression. I get oil blowing out of it only when I autocross. I suggest you do a retest, make sure you engine is pretty hot when you do it also.

I don't think you'd wanna install a 4G63 in a 2GNT, it's too costly and the speedracers car is pretty kick ass already. It bet it could smoke a stock GSX hehe...

Right.

it's the PISTONS that break. My rings were the only thing holding it together.

Rings just make a seal. They don't take any of the abuse from the detonation, it's the piston surface that gets hammered on. It's the edges of the piston that break.
