Spent about 2.5 hours at the hobby shop trimming and cutting. 14 TPI Bi-Metal blades on the recip saw cut the bumper support like it was butter. A heavy duty box cutter and a couple of blades made quick work or the urethane too. I still have a little trimming to do here and there but it looks good.
Just need to wait until dark to re-align my HID fogs...

that looks good. on a side note, why do all 2g's all sag at the bottom of the middle part of the lip? is there a factory plate that could straighten that up?

Most people have removed the very bottom steel underlip support long ago plus with a FMIC the plastic radiator ducting is no longer used and that also helped a little with the support.
They don't all sag if you know a little trick. I'll show it to CODE4 next time he's in Phoenix and he can do a write-up if he wants to do the same. I'll also show him the molded corner inserts to hide where the black bar (moustache) was removed.

Its called not cutting half of your bumper off.
Also, I spray Great Stuff foam in mine. Cant tell its there, and it has plenty of support.

I still need to remove some material from my bumper. I wanted to take my time with it and not remove too much all at once at the hobby shop. If the lower part of the bumper sits closer to the FMIC it will take out a bit of that buckle in the urethane that you see on the lower piece.
And I did take that metal insert that was bolted to the bottom after I hit a tire on the road and bent to hell.

I molded and painted them separate to fit into the spaces with a small seam between so they look like they belong there. They don't need a completely molded-in flush fit (that usually cracks anyway) and also requires painting and blending a bigger area. I installed them with double-sided tape so they don't pop out if the bumper flexes.

Looking good, Dave. I remember when that car was all awkward with buck teeth and a dead alternator. In fact, I remember having to push start that car way out in BFE. Now look at it. Turning into a monster.
