Originally posted by mreigle Also I had that oil breather filter and it worked great until I got boosted. Then it just started spraying oil on the engine. I would suggest an oil catch can. It won't effect the performance but I would hate to see some oil burnt on that throttle body.
I just had to replace my PCV valve, so I bought a new one at Autozone. Sure enough...same issue. So I pull the new pcv valve out and the check ball doesn't even seal up under pressure. So I went to the autoparts store, half of them didn't even seal up when positive air pressure was applied to intake side (I blew in them, which is about 1psi). I found another pcv valve that was of similar size to the factory one and it sealed up great when pressure was applied. No more oil on my firewall

If you are boosting less than 10 psi and are spewing oil out of your breather filter, you either have seriously worn piston rings or your pcv valve isn't doing a good enough of a job.

You can't install a bypass on a turbo setup, the suction is too great.
