I took out my center heater vent to make a plexi-glass panel for my nitrous gauge, switch, and purge button. What would i use to block off the heat from going back there? Can i use a piece of foam to put in there so it routes the heat to the door vents? or would it get to hot? Thanks

yeah, its not that hot. just get some hard plastic and super glue it....we arent talking high temps here. just a quick google search indicated that most plastics can withstand 200* temps before melting. i guess if your too parenoid hold a hair dryer (overkill) to it and look for any warpage or anything. you could stuff a rag down there first, then seal it up, but youll be fine. your car shouldent spontaneously combust

Or you could just not worry about it. Ive had mine out for years and have never had a problem...and you wont either, unless your running NO2 through your heater vents.
