I have an OEM CF hood and it got a spider crack on it for Xmas. I think I know why. My Tial wastegate sticks so far up, Id be suprised if its not hitting the hood. So I figure, freezing PA mornings with an ice cold CF hood and a hot Tial WG dont mix. My question is, do you think if I bought an invader hood it would take care of this prob, considering where the WG is sitting? Check out the pick below and tell me what you guys think.

sorry if this is late I've been busy... but my guess would be hell ya it would help. Thats what the invader hood is made for... turbos. the vent lets a LOT of heat out of the hood so you shouldn't have any problems with heat effecting the hood. hope this helps even further even though you already found out what to do.... emoji I'm goin home...

I use to have a White 99 GS Sport with a Star Stage II Ball Bearing T3/T4 turbo...it was fun untill....well those who remember me know emoji Oh Ya...this is what I have now... a 99' GSX...

From what I can see with my hood you should have plenty of room for the WG to clear. I would still recommend putting in the heat resistant padding from the stock hood! Better safe then sorry!
