i got some led lights off ebay last month and im still trying to figure them out. i tried to get help from someone off her but i didnt really understand them. so what i got were 10 little led lights, each with two prong. then i got 10 little resistors. THATS IT. so i went out and bought some speaker wire and a switch. and that what ive got now. i did some test runs and almost killed myself! if there is anyone who knows how to do it pls help!

sweetie, we should find you some good ones.....1 sec.

I got these off ebay for $30 US......they actually go over ur existing guages and are super easy to install.

the actual bulbs that you need to replace the stockers in the gauge cluser are these...the ones you HAVE are a major pain in the ass IMO.

#74 bulbs..halfway down

...Did I miss something? I did not see anything specifying about gauge cluster bulbs...

What are you trying to do with these LEDs? Each LED will probably need one resistor soldered to it (assuming the resistor is in the correct range ~680 ohms). Then hook it to 12 volts. If it lights, try reversing the polarity. It does not really matter which lead of the LED the resistor is on. If it still does not work, verify the resistance of the resistor you are using, and if in tolerance then you may have fried the LED with your prior messing around =] Do not worry, LEDs, depending on color, can be as cheap as 0.25 from Radio Shack.
