d000000d...i would honestly have someone else do it...take no offense...but if you need to know what you need beyond an actuator...then methinks you have not the skills to pull it off.
I say practice with an actuator outside of your car to see how it works and what its capabilities are in your hands before it sees the inside of your car....my $0.02 IMO

I am not sure what all you need to make the actuator work, like a control box or something like that. thats why i said do a little research on it. But if you are asking what else you need to make the thing work, i would try something like the rails from your keyboard tray...this would give the rack a smooth thing to slid in. not sure how you want it to work exactly, where you want it to come out of i mean.

the only way is with a acuator, you need the actuaor, limit switches, 6 position switch, pluse you need welding skills, a slide tabel. So if you dont know how dont do it

didn't some do this with a monitor? I remember seeing a vid clip of it. I think they used either a power window tracks and motor or a power sun/moon roof tracks and motor.
*edit* ha...found out who did it....and they already replied here...didn't they hondahater?
all the links are broken in the threads...so they aren't of much use but here they are
