I wanna get my white w/black top talon painted. I don't really like the two color look. So a few questoins...
#1... should I go with painting the top white to match the rest of the body... or would it be easier to paint the rest of the body black to match the top.
#2... about how much should i expect to pay for either option above. Anyone from Jersey have any recommendations on a paint shop.

paint the top half white, i've been dying to see an all white talon, it was a consideration of mine for a while till i relized about door jams and engine bay. :-\

really it isnt all that. i would say get the color you like best. the worst part about your decision is that either color is a dirt magnent. i have seen an all white tsi before and it is ok. i personally have a black talon (all black) and i like it but if i were to ever get a body kit it wouldnt be as clean as a white car. i would paint the whole thing white that way if you ever get a body kit you will get the most style out of it possible.

I think I may wind up going with all white. As for keeping her clean, i've kept my current white body pretty clean for the year that i've had the car. I wash and detail my car at least once a week. If i'm going out somewhere (like my trip to Hot Import Nights last weekend), she may see two washings in a week. So i'm not too concerned about being a dirt magnet. Body kits don't seem like something i'll be doing anytime soon. I do want to get a 97 eclipse stock bumper/headlight conversion someday though. maybe its just me, but i love the look of the 97+ eclipse, better than any reasonably priced aftermarket kit.

its cool i just was saying that white and black show dirt more. also another thing i ment about clean was with white you can see the edges and curves or anything better than black. so if you get a new bumper it would look better than say mine with a new black bumper. ??? get it ???

Don't mind me... i'm just a little slow. Ok i get it and agree completely. I think I may just go with the all white look. Now to find a body shop in Jersey.... hmmmmmmmmm.... any recommendations... anybody?
