6613, RE: exterior paint Posted by Talon, Jul-12-01 03:36 AM really it isnt all that. i would say get the color you like best. the worst part about your decision is that either color is a dirt magnent. i have seen an all white tsi before and it is ok. i personally have a black talon (all black) and i like it but if i were to ever get a body kit it wouldnt be as clean as a white car. i would paint the whole thing white that way if you ever get a body kit you will get the most style out of it possible. | |

As for keeping her clean, i've kept my current white body pretty clean for the year that i've had the car. I wash and detail my car at least once a week. If i'm going out somewhere (like my trip to Hot Import Nights last weekend), she may see two washings in a week. So i'm not too concerned about being a dirt magnet. Body kits don't seem like something i'll be doing anytime soon. I do want to get a 97 eclipse stock bumper/headlight conversion someday though. maybe its just me, but i love the look of the 97+ eclipse, better than any reasonably priced aftermarket kit. | |
