#65584, "Aftermarket Power windows with Stock Power Window panels?"

I have an aftermarket power window kit on my RS and I can get some GST power windows door panels for cheap. Now would it be easy to tap into the wires of the stock GST door panels so I can splice my aftermarket window one into the stock ones? Anyone have a picture of the inside of a stock power window panel? THanks

i just did this like 3 days ago. its not that hard. well, was for me, but wont be for you. ill give you all the wire colors and functiopns tommorrow when i pop the door panels off. i have the spal kit. you have to use the stock door panel switch panel. and get ready to do some grinding. cause the handle that you used to crank the window with stocks out too far. and you have to cut it. pita!@!!@@##

well, i did add the bolt spacers to mine to move the crank assembly back like 1/4" or so. it is sorta a tight fit, but no rubbing. and just FYI, iv gotten lots of props on my switch locations, its not some hack trash job....looks stock emoji

The one on the right is crooked.

Can someone post the wire diagra mto do this or email it to me at
scothern@insight.rr.com

I take it I wouldn't have to buy the switch kit with the SPAL kit if I were to do this?

What, did you do pull the guts from the GS+ door and use it on yours or just the switches.

EDIT: I see you have the SPAL power window kit, where did you get it, I used Autoloc back in the day and it sucked
