So I thought I needed the metal wires bit, the one that has like a thousand wires in a circle, but I used it on the 'D' fromDOHC and ruined the look, Messed it up, looks very ghetto. what bit do I use, help.

start with the ones that are like granite or stone, not the fine bristle type brush ones. you should be able to grind that "D" back down to at least look right. good luck

got pics?

1- go to HOME DEPOT
2- in the TOOL DEPARTMENT, find the Dremel bits display
3- get the 120 GRIT FLAP WHEEL SANDER BIT (looks kinda like a little fan, with flaps of sand paper around the outside)
4- use this bit to remove the damage from the wire brush
5- use the Dremel metal polish (reddish brown if you have it. If not, any metal polish should work) and a soft, cotton-y bit to apply the polish, work it around a bit, then wipe it off and use a clean cloth bit to polish it to a shine.

TAKE YOUR TIME AND BE PATIENT. YOU CAN DO THIS! emoji

Or quit being lazy and go to sears and get 120 grit wet/dry sand paper and also get some 600 and 1500.... and use your hands... those letters are nothing to do... 15-20 mins and you will be finished... This is the best way to polish.... and after your done use a buffing wheel with the red polish to make it look like a mirror........

No dude...His yellowed headlight case, not the orange plastic piece.....Look at his drivers side headlight, you can barely see it in his pic. The older headlights seem to do this alot. I heard once that a toothbrush and regular old toothpaste has worked for some people. Seems weird to me, but why not give it a try?
