This is so annoying, sometimes when I'm at idle with the sunroof closed this rattling sound occurs as if something is loose. Also when the sunroof is open and I hit a bumb on the highway it makes a clacking sound as if the sunroof broke off. In actuality the sunroof moves upwards when I hit the bumb but comes back to its normal position. Can someone help me out.

There are about 6 TORX head bolts that hold the glass to the sunroof frame. These always seem to come loose. I bought some threadlock (red not blue) and had my GF push down on the glass from the outside. tighten those bitches down. They keep the glass from wiggling around. Should do the trick.

mine did that when i got it back from the mechanic, but i went to look at it to check it out and it stopped doing it. i still made sure everything was tight

I tightened the sunroof but it seems that there is a noise behind the sunroof under the cloth. Something is rattling under there, does someone know how to take the cloth top off (im talking about after the sunroof towards the rear of the car)

Yep....mine does rattle, but I've learned to live with it to. mabey I'll try to tighten it.

Mine has been rattling forever. Everything seems to be tight too. I've just learned to live with it I guess.

does anyone know how to take the cloth uphostery off from the ceiling of the car which is behind the sunroof . Thats where the sound is comming from.
