52450, sunroof makes annoying rattle noise Posted by momoney816, Jul-09-03 05:36 PM This is so annoying, sometimes when I'm at idle with the sunroof closed this rattling sound occurs as if something is loose. Also when the sunroof is open and I hit a bumb on the highway it makes a clacking sound as if the sunroof broke off. In actuality the sunroof moves upwards when I hit the bumb but comes back to its normal position. Can someone help me out. | |

52460, RE: sunroof makes annoying rattle noise Posted by djtrickee, Jul-09-03 08:27 PM There are about 6 TORX head bolts that hold the glass to the sunroof frame. These always seem to come loose. I bought some threadlock (red not blue) and had my GF push down on the glass from the outside. tighten those bitches down. They keep the glass from wiggling around. Should do the trick. | |

Something is rattling under there, does someone know how to take the cloth top off (im talking about after the sunroof towards the rear of the car) | |
