#51939, "Anyone got pics of the Apex N1, 3" Turbo exhaust..."

I think I saw it on a Talon today, and does the piping go under the rear suspension!!!???? LOOKS BADAZZ!!

If anybody has pics of the rear of a car with the Apexi N1 3" exhaust, or you know what I'm talking about, I'd appreciate the pics!! Please make sure I can see the piping, not just a tip sticking out!

yes the 3" (turbo) version of the apexi n1 DOES go under the rear cross member. i'd post ya some pics of mine but i got no camera. it's a pretty bad ass exhaust though. the NA version goes above the suspension like the stock piping. if you've got a rear lower tie bar the n1 turbo might cause some problems.

I had my N1 done with custom piping and now it runs under the bar instead of over, but my muffler is now at more of an angle, more of any other N1 i've ever seen emoji

Yeah, that must be the one, here is the best I can describe what I saw...the pipe comes straight back from the cat until it is past the suspension, and then it cuts to the left and puts the muffler at like a 45 degree angle out the back...definitely more of an angle that my 2.5" N1.

Can you get any pics silver?

Here is a pic of the Apexi WS 3" (GS-T) exhaust on my car. The mufflers are different, but this should give you an idea of how the piping goes (Look closely to the right side of the muffler). Sorry, it's a crappy pic!

Hey Jersey, why do you have 3" piping on your car? Since your car isn't turbo'd don't you think 2.5" would be more beneficial? When are you going to get some new rims? my 2 cents

Well I got a good deal on it and with a stock down pipe and stock cat, there is no loss of back-pressure. emoji Hey what's wrong with my rims?? emoji

What size is the stock GST catback I thought it was the same size as the RS/GS catback ( just the pipeing not muffler )?

The piping on the GST/GSX is 3" to accommodate the extra flow.

Silver ~ I appreciate the pictures whenever you get them! Thanks bud

I believe the Apex WS Gradually reaches to 3" in piping, similar to the DUNK megaphone. Same goes for the N-1. Apex does not make a true 3" exhaust from front to back. ie: N-1 goes from 70mm-75mm-85mm.

This is sort of true. There is a small portion of piping (less then 6" long) that goes from the original piping size to 3" and that is the section that bolts right on to the Cat.

i have a 3" Apexi catback exhaust system for my GST. The piping does go under the suspesion. My friend has a Thermal exhaust system for his GSX..that too goes under the suspension. Our exhausts sound mean when we rev them up next to each other.

yup and when you car reaches the point where you need a 3" turbo back that little flange adapter comes out and you bolt your straight pipe right up to it to get a full 3" turbo back. they used to have pics of the adapter on the RRE site but i think it's gone now. but RRE does sells downpipes that bolt right up to the apexi n1 (ditching that 2.5" adapter). kinda tells you something when RRE makes a DP specifically for apexi systems.

I love the RRE DP. It was designed around the RSR and Apex exhaust systems. The DP goes from 2.5" at the O2 housing and gradually to 2.75" at the flex section, then 3" to the cat.

Which is why, we have one of their Dp and a high flow 3" on our N-1 equipped GST spyder.

i think thermal, busher, and Greddy EVO are the only ones that make a true 3" + exhaust.

Wow, I started this thread a week ago, and 17 posts later there still isn't a single pic of the N1 Turbo.

SilverGS, or InvaznGST, can either of you get a picture of yours from real low, but a shot of the whole back end like jerseystyle did but further back.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

i can take some pics tomorrow if i remember or you can remind me on AIM..or whatever..i work til 4pm so not until after then..and it's too dark right now to take pics.. if you're worried about clearance..you have plenty of room on a 2G..they are low but not really that low..of course my car isnt lowered.. But Apexi stuff is great. One of the best brands out there.
