how do you make sure that the holes you drill in the body of your car wont rust. IE, when you add wings and sideskirts and other misc parts, how do you keep them from rusing. i think my spoiler holes are starting to rust on my hatch and i really dont want them too. emoji thanks all!

when i put my newer style sideskirts on, the holes that i drilled for my other ones had some rust in them. but you cant see it because it is completely covered by the skirt. so i just dont think about it

This may be the ghetto way to do it, but if it's going to be hidden by the bodywork you could mask all but a small ring around the hole and prime it, maybe even spray it into a cup til you get a little puddle so you could brush it on to the inner edge of the hole. You could even try a small bead of silicon sealant like Plumber's Goop or the stuff they sell to reseal aquariums.
