Ok, am starting to realize that i am going to, sooner or later need to change my muffler. I hate the sound most of them make, they all sound like a loud whiney kawasaki dirt bike to me. And the few that i like that have a deep rumble to them that arent loud and anoying i can never find. And i wouldnt mind freeing up a few horsepower. Throw me a bone here guys what should i do.

word yo! haha the n1 kicks ass. i got the turbo version too. (it's got 3" piping) a lotta people like the greddy evo too. gonna run you about $450-500 or so for either. both give you a nice deep tone. nothing whiny or honda-ish emoji the n1 comes with a silencer too that's useful for long road trips.

is your stainless steel exhaust rusting? i have a obx b3 bomb muffler and it has been on for maybe 4 months and it has already starting rusting in a few spots. not even near the welds either. sounds pretty good except for a vibrating noise somewhat when i go between 3400 to 4000. is anyones apex'i n1 starting to rust? how long has everybody had theirs. i am thinking about upgrading to that when i redo mine.

>"is your stainless steel exhaust rusting?"

Nope dude, "stainless steel" does exactly what it sounds like... I live in Rhode Island too with crappy ass snow and rain all the time, and there are no rust spots whatsoever... The only compalint I have right now is that the muffler bumps against the back of my bumper every now and then, but there are no burn marks on the bumper... emoji

I've got a crooked ass MagnaFlow offset and though it looks less than perfect, it's nice and deep. A slight rasp in the usual range, but I only paid $250 for it and I can get a glass pack for $20 to take care of the rasp.

I used to run a magnaflow, sounded good. I now run a dynomax race muffler w/ glasspack and I wouldn't trade it for anything. No drone or excessive loudness. BTW stainless can rust if it's welded on or sometimes around seams, but depends on filler rod used.

Shit is all apart. Typical...
