First off, thanks for the compliment Well, I bought the valve cover on here for about $30. The place I took it to for powder coating quoted me $35. Well when I went to pick it up they tried charging me $62 So I told them that the guy told me $35 and they said that it was a double coat, which cost more, but they still gave it to me for $35 since that is what was quoted. i agree with everyone, that cover looks freakin good! i woulda expected it to be more expensive to have it coated. oh well, looks damn good...congrats.

Yep, that is exactly what we mean. I started sanding with rough sand paper and then I just kept going finer until it is almost like a polish. It really turns out great that way!

damn that thing is sexy! i'd go get mine powder coated right now if it wasn't for the fact that everything else in my engine bay looks like shit and i could really spend the money on other stuff (like a new engine). i'm wondering though... is there a way to make it say something other than 'DOHC'?
